Catastrophic Climate Change: We Caused It; We're Going to Have to Fix It.
It's a Big Job. Let's Take It One Day at a Time.
The suggestions here and in the monthly lists are based on my experience,
which includes living in a colder part of the world, where we can have snow up to
six months of the year.
The Rainforest Action Network is launching a Year of Action in 2019.
They have taken note of the 2018 UN IPCC warning that we have 12 years to get our act together
before the Climate Change impacts are irreversible. (We actually don't have that much time.)
This month, they want you to tell big banks
to stop funding climate change and fossil fuels.
If you really want to make a difference with your banking, close your accounts with
the big
banks which are financing fossil fuels and climate change, and start doing your banking with a
local community credit union or other non-bank financial institution with local ties.

Sorry, I'm not keeping up here. Climate change is a many-headed beast, and it's keeping me busy.
However, I'm happy to receive some suggestions to add for the missing dates.
